I have the new m1 stands and think they are pretty poor. First the screws are very soft and week (one is plastic) and the speaker is a little wobbly once in position.

The white screw in the back is plastic so as not to damage the 'stem' of the speaker, if you know what I mean. Using the right sized screwdriver, this should be tightened just enough to stop the speaker wobbling - it doesn't have to be ultra tight - just enough to stop it moving once its sat in position on the stand.
