Looking for something that doesn't exist - best compromise?

I'm thinking seriously about adding a streamer proper, but my requirements don't seem easily satisfied. I want a decently-sized screen, and an IR remote (not phone) to control Spotify, using wifi or ethernet. I don't really need (or want to pay for) a DAC or anything else, as I'll be using digital out into my CDP's DAC. I can't see any way of buying just what I need, so some sort of compromise would seem in order.

The cheaper of CA's offerings seems to be the cheapest thing on the RS website that has a screen, other than adding a mini-system, which I don't really want to do - not unless the sound quality would be as good if I am using the CD's DAC.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like you want an old Logitech SqueezeBox touch. But will need a paid for subscription to Spotify and a third party app added.

I was also looking looking for something similar but also wanted DAB+ built in .

not found one box to do it yet.

Yes, looks as though there would be issues with Spotify that I don't want to get into solving myself!
