Looking for floorstanding speakers for around 500 Eur

Hi

I just bought NAD C325 BEE and NAD C525 BEE. Now i need speakers. I have a 40 m2 room in the mansard where it echos, but at the moment there isnt much furniture. What speakers should i look for ? I am interested in B&W DM 309. Thes cost 500 EUR, but are a older model. I also heard that they sound "light". Is that a problem
in a room where it echos. I will use the system for listening for sorts of music from rock to classic. I little more classic then others.

DM309s are pretty good, and would be well suited to the rest of the system, but no speakers will sound at their best in a room that 'lively' with echoes. The echoes will reduce when you get some more furniture in it, but I'd spend some time playing with the layout to get as little echo as possible.

They work if you copy and paste them into your browser, but make sure you copy the whole URL, I just browsed for them I'm afraid so I don't have any other info... except there is a nice looking pair of MA RS8's at £400...
