Hi,

I'm new to these forums so am not sure this is the right forum for this.

I have a sony cdp-m555es changer which I want to hook up to a good quality power amp,

Im not leaning towards one of the feature laden receivers I see around the place, just a machine with an audio in, audio out, a on/off switch and a volume dial + remote.

When I say good quality, I mean one that sounds good and not one with 0.000000005% thd costing thousands

say something like 100+ watts per channel into 4-8 ohm soeakers.

I'm thinking less the 500e would do the job.

any ideas or suggestions would be great.

well, I'm guess your right as I might in the future hook up something like a record player, so yes, can anyone recommend a decent integrated amp?

If you're looking for simplicity coupled with a quality phono input for under 500 Euro I'd recommend auditioning the Music Hall a15.2, available for 449 Euro with 5 year warranty. Good build quality and power output with future peace of mind.

Alternatively, you could look at the second-hand market where there are countless options for even less money, though you would be sacrificing the security of a brand new purchase.

Good Luck
