Limits of a Rega fono mini ?

It's time for My Arcam Delta 90 to be put out to pasture and I'm looking to spend £500 to £700 on a new amp and am looking at auditioning the "usual suspects"

My question is are the phono stages on the Brio, Arcam etc significantly "better" than what the fono mini provides at the moment ?

Despite having 20 years worth of cds my Arcam cd player is gathering dust as vinyl is my primary source so I don't need lots of inputs.

I listen to every and any style but value musicality and involvement over detail.

I recently showed a pair of KEF floorstanders the Ebay door (as they were boring the pants off me) and replaced them with a pair of Wharfdale 9 1s at a quarter of the price and found myself preferring them.

Is it time to ditch the mini ?

The Rega Fono Mini is great - I tried one here for a weekend. The latest Fono is better though, as is the Creek OBH-15 mk 2. Personally I rate all of those ahead of the phono stage in the Brio-R, which I used for about a year.
