Leema stream CD player advice required

I never for one moment ever thought I would look at my rega CD player and think I was not getting the best sound I could out of it, but after a bit of a vinyl revival I am wondering if I really could get an improvement if I changed it out for a leema stream..? I've been very happy with my leema pulse amp, so I wondered if it would be worth seeking a used model out ?

Any pointers or advice regarding cd players etc?

This may seem like a silly suggestion, but as you like Rega why not look at the Saturn original, or even my Electrocompaniet?

I have considered both pp. among others. In the grand scheme of things, I think my 550 plus CDs deserve the best CD player I can afford.

The leema stream seems a decent buy at around £400 mark, but I'm open to other ideas too.

Have you discounted the Saturn? If so, why?

not at all, the saturn is definitely still in the running.

Sorry, can't advise on the Stream. The only comment I can make is that reviews have been patchy, so not sure the Stream and Pulse will synergise with the Focals.

i was kind of hoping that the stream would perform well with the pulse, the speakers have been an absolute dream, i'm thoroughly happy with them.

The combo may work a treat... have to say, though, when I heard the Focal 807V with the Pulse and RS6s, it wasn't my bag.
