As a resident of Suffolk, I have to ask - is Cambridge really in any of the 3 regions listed? I thought it was east midlands...

Petherick:is Cambridge really in any of the 3 regions listed?

Yes it is. To be honest, even if you really don't have access to Google for some reason, there's two which it fairly obviously isn't in...

Well, without giving the competition away completely (cough), I suggest you check which counties are in the region of East Anglia again (cough)...

The Wikipedia entry for Cambridge gives the answer and it agrees with the Prof.

I entered the quiz before I checked that though, I did give the right answer but I wasn't 100% sure.

For administrative purposes, we live in Europe, apparently. I don't remember voting for that or for the EERA. So as I said, I started with a smile, now it's getting serious.

Try Wikipedia'ing East Anglia, then. You can't trust it, you know.

JohnDuncan:Well at least the legal necessity for a competition to require 'reasonable skill' is being met...

I think this month's competition is quite hard compared to the previous ones.

Do we get to find out who won last months?

Thanks

I'm going there tomorrow as it happens - shall I do a survey while I am touring the various hostelries?

professorhat:True, at least the answer wasn't given in the paragraph leading up to the question this time...

ha! I read, re-read and then re-re-read the para and thought I was having a moron moment. Having to resort to wikipedia to answer a WHF quiz; what next?!

+1 on this request please - I'm hoping I've won and you just haven't told me yet....
