Klipsch Image x5 vs Image x10

Have anyone compared these headphones,

are the x10 worth extra money? which player (ipod) would suit best (price/performance) for these headphones?

Hi Clare,

I've read the article but it doesn't really compare them as both are given 5 stars. Is there a big difference in sound between them or is it simply the manufacture as I believe the X10's are slightly smaller and therefore more expensive to make. The X5's would be the ones for me for budget reasons but I would like to know what your thoughts are on them.

If the X10 are within your budget, go for them. If not, the X5 will still be fantastic buds.

just the x10's and they were excellent. I have shure se115's, but if I had that extra cash, would of gone for the Klipsch.

You can buy them with confidence. Just make sure you rip at lossless etc.

Oh Yeah, I am using the ipod classic, as you can get about 300 full lossless albums on there. I got about 240, as I have some videos and games on there also.

Its a very good player, but some prefer the touch. To me, the classic was better. Get a small Fiio E5 amp to partner the classic etc, and it does make a difference.
