Happy days indeed! I first saw KC at the Malvern Winer Gardens Novemer 27th 1972! The master was perfectly mesmerising as was the band.

Hi Proffski,

I was there too - although I could not of pinned down the date, even to the year! Amazing who you could see at small venues and even cinemas in those days. The Who at Brum odeon, Pink Floyd at Coventry, Fleetwood Mac at Wormlow, hereford, Genesis as a support group to Medicine Head at uni halls do and Atomic Rooster in a tiny room in Monmouth.

Guess Greg Lake will be missing from reform.

Wow! Probably get them on 'Later' on BBC2 if nothing else!

I was playing Starless and Bible Black this morning. I remember thinking when I got past Red that perhaps my brain couldn't cope with any more

I confess I usually only play up to Red and then beyond the 80s I retreated a bit. Perhaps I'll do a revisit of them because it has been a very long time now. Tastes change/improve with age and all that...well that's what I'm told.
