Kind of Blue 180gm vinyl £4.99

This was in W H Smith. Its an introductory offer for one of these "every month it builds into a collection of" type magazines that often involve building HMS Victory over 80 issues with a spar each month. This one is jazz albums. The first issue is £4.99, the next is Blue Train at £9.99 but they are tight lipped about the cost after that. Have just bought it, they had about 6 left at my local store. Havent put it on the turntable to see how it sounds yet but bit of a bargain I thought.

It seems a bargain at that price. Actually they're not being tight-lipped about the subsequent pricing; if you go to the website it's all laid out quite clearly.

A leaftlet dropped out of the cardboard that I had missed when opening it - it loolks like £14.99 for each subsequent issue which isn't bad (assuming you like that particular record). Visually at least it looks good quality, will play it this evening.
