jriver and synology nas

hi all about to buy a synology ds213j to back up and stream my flac files,my question is can i move jriver to the nas[no laptop on] and stream using gizmo,currently i need jriver open and my amp switches to media server as soon as itouch gizmo,which works brilliantly but i would rather not need the laptop on.cheers

You can't use jriver in synology NAS, oyu can only use programs that have protocol with synology and they are down loaded from their server.

but you can and should use their own program, is Audio Station and controlet in ithing (ios or android) with DS Audio app.

It works very nice!

a quick update have the synology set up and playing to my amp now,sounds great and the ds audio app works really well. :cheers:

yes it does!

And if you want you can use the equalizer in Audio station through your PC.
