Jittering on freeview

I'm very happy with my panasonic 32lxd set apart from one thing. When watching on the internal freeview we sometimes get a kind of flickering of the picture signal and the sound can also cut-out for a split-second. What can cause this and what can I do about it?

Are you using a good-quality rooftop TV aerial?

I certainly have a rooftop aerial, but I've no idea of the quality. How can I check? I receive all of the freeview channels but I also use a booster. Never had any of this problem with the old analogue set.
