Can anyone tell me if the Jamo C 803 Speakers as reviewed in What HiFi's March/2007 issue were made in Denmark or China? My understanding is that Jamo was sold and now their products are made in China. Has this affected quality in anyway? I know that prices in the States have dropped considerably!

Thanks!

That's interesting. I have been trying to buy those following a
recommendation from Clare on the Forum. None of the listed stockists
near me sell them. They have said that the distributor changed and that
is why they no longer stock them.

I have found them on the internet for the full price of £699,
but am not entirely keen to buy them unheard, and also baulk at the
principle of paying the same price on the internet as at a proper hifi
dealer with dem rooms and helpful staff. A possible change of
manufacturer would be another reason not to buy them unheard.

So would be interested to know if anyone else has any info on this.

Many kit is now being made in China, the quality is high, very high in fact, some of their finishes on speakers are absolutely first class,i'm not keen on the styling of their electronics, but they are very capable sound wise, maybe being made in China will make Jamo speaker actually sound good.
