Hi - on my Freesat when I watch ITV HD on its dedicated channel I do not get dolby sound. However when I watch it on ITV 103 using the red button I get Dolby sound. Any ideas why?

Its because the 'red button' service uses the ITV1 HD London feed which carries AC-3 (DD) sound, whereas you're getting ITV1 HD Granada (i assume) on channel 119 which only carries MPEG-2 audio...
i am tuned to ITV HD (london) but only getting dolby surround from ITV HD on most things.. e.g x factor.. do they transmit in Dolby Digital 5.1?
