Hi Prof. Indeed I have all that is required, infact when I go into my settings my itouch shows my bt home hub connection but there is a small icon of a lock, which according to the apple site means I have to put in my password which I have done but without any success, please help.

You need to ensure you are using the correct encryption standard. Basically, your wireless network will be using an encryption method for the wireless network to prevent unauthorised people accessing it. This will likely be either WEP or WPA / WPA2 so make sure you have chosen the correct standard when choosing the network.

Thanks for the info but even with bt's help from India no joy, so, looks like a trip to my local apple store tomorrow.

Hi Prof. Job done as they say without getting the hammer out. Must admit the guys at the apple store (Southampton)where great they couldn't do enough to help, checked everything, all working fine they said the only thing to do, was when I got home, was to reset the the net connection on the itouch, got home and bingo all working. Thanks again for your help, what a great site for people wanting help and, the nice thing is that by giving help to me, your advice and my information may help someone else to solve the same problem.
