is my new budget LCD faulty

hi

didn't know this forum existed as, have to admit, not as regular reader of what hifi as i used to be.

anyway, i purchased a acoustic solutions CTVL26W3HD 26" LCD from argos. lovely looking tv i must say and the picture is not bad to. when watching divx movies, the black on heavy night scenes turn to purply-red colour, but not all the time.

is there something wrong with the TV and should i send it back or are there these problems with some divx style films?

If it's only divx films, I'd say it's something in the compression during the divx conversion process, not the TV

thanks for that, i have since played a blu ray on it and its stunning quality.

so it must be the divx file that is not that good.

hi i woundered if you profesorhat have some eksperience about bw dm603 s3 and nad 372 together should i sell my bw and go for jbl speaker instead ? or ?,i wounder couse i want allot of midle tone and a , clean jazz acoustic rock speaker got some tips?

ah ok but have u heard bowers 603 s3 then ? shoule i go for jbl instead of having 603 in my home ?
