Is it worth keeping dedicated Blu-Ray player with a new Playstation 3 Slim on its way?

I currently have a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player hooked up to my 4 year old 40" Sony LCD TV and Dolby Digital receiver. All well and good - but we have a new Playstation 3 coming from Christmas, and wondered if the dedicated Blu-ray player would have any advantage over the PS3? Or can I dump the Blu-player, and just use the PS3?

I'd be interested if anyone has had the opportunity to compare the two?
