irDAC issues

Well, it sounds great when it plays. I bought it to listen to my ipod through my A/V receiver. When I listen to a playlist, it stops after 4-6 songs. I have to power it off and on to reset it. This doesn't happen when listening to an album. Also, between all songs, playlist or album, the green light turns red for a second, I can hear a "click", then back to green. Is that normal? This is a replacement, I thought the first one was defective and took it back for these reasons. Thanks for any help - Jim

What are you using as the input source? I get that annoying clicking when using AirFoil - but I don't get the same problem with AirPlay.

My ipod is the source. I'm using a 30 pin connector to USB cable from the ipod to the irDAC. Between the DAC and the A/V is a digital coax cable.
