Hi,

Before I go ahead and purchase, I just want to confirm I'm looking at the right gear.

I want to connect my iPod to my home stereo/amplifier (phono inputs).

Will the below gear do the trick? I can't seem to find a female 3.5mm to RCA cable so I think the adapter is necessary.

Cany anyone confirm/deny? Thanks in advance.

Nick

P.S. I know I could just run the Atlas cable from the iPod headphone socket but I want to get line out/dock audio from the iPod.

you can pick up a line out adaptor with 3.5mm input for about £3 on ebay including free postage. I bought one a few months back and it works a treat. then you can use any 3.5mm to phono cable you want (or even proper interconnects with a phono to male 3.5mm adaptor from maplins.
