iPhone bumpers?

Hi, I'm just wondering about the new apple iPhone 4s bumpers, there's been a lot of talk on Internet forums that I've looked on and a lot of them say that the

Bumpers for iPhones actually scratch the silver rim around the edge of the phone, and I don't know weather to buy one or not, can someone who has had first hand experience with this please share with me any info they have I the issue please.

No-one I know with an iPhone 4S has bothered with them as they haven't experienced a major problem with reception, despite reports of 'antennagate'.

Ive had a quick scan of that thread you posted and I've decided

Maybe it's not worth getting one, I'm just going to keep my phone out of a case or bumper for now, until I maybe find something a little better.
