Hi,

Simple question. I am thinking of buying a dab/internet radio. I understand the internet radio uses my wi-fi network. However, my question is, will using this facility count against my ISP download allowance?

Thanks for the help

Found these figures on a forum (mybroadband.co.za) they may help.....

32Kbps = 4KB/s = 12MB/hour
64Kbps = 8KB/s = 23MB/hour

128Kbps = 16KB/s = 57MB/hour

Or....
32Kbps = 4KB/s = 12MB/hour = 96 Meg a day = 2 Gig in a 21 day working cycle
64Kbps = 8KB/s = 23MB/hour = 184 Meg a day = 3.8 Gig in a 21 day working cycle

128Kbps = 16KB/s = 57MB/hour = 456 Meg a day = 9.6 Gig in a 21 day working cycle

Considering the limit on some ISP's is quite low it could make a hefty dent in your usage, especially if you are listening to decent quality radio.

Ben.
