Integrated amp for Tannoy Revolution DC6T SE

Hi everybody!

I received as a gift a pair of Tannoy DC6TSE standmounts.

My Rotel RA-12 doesn't seem to be a perfect partner, because the system sounds a bit too bright.

Any suggestion for a better pairing in the same price area of the Rotel? I was thinking about Rega Brio R or Arcam FMJ A19.

Perhaps consider a Marantz PM KI pearl lite?

Very smooth warm sound should take some of the edge off those Tannoys.

The Marantz Pearl Lite can be got for about £670, think there were some cheaper deals a month or so ago but they seem to have gone. The Rega is worth hearing but maybe a bit underpowered. Arcam A19 is also worth hearing.

Another option could be change the source.

Now I'm using a mac mini feeding lossles music to the internal dac of the Rotel.

With Rega or Audolab dacs could I have a more musical feel?
