In line for new cable.......Avatar TSC form SHB or Merlin..Atlas?

Ok I don't on the whole spend a huge amount on cables but I am considering a new interconnect. I run a Hyrid valve amp.....and speakers with detailed mid range. if anything I would like to give myself a bit more bass response.

• Any one got any idea on the Avatar TSC from Silver High Breed.....price is good....!
• or would any of the three above be suitable?

Hi Dave,

I can't comment on The Merlin cable, but I have a SHB Metaphor interconnect (the model before the Avatar). I don't think it will be what you are after. They are brilliant cables, especially for the price and they offer brilliant levels of detail, but if they have one weakness, it's that they are a little lean in the bass.

They have been reviewed here but not all that positively for some strange reason , however the user opinions make interesting reading. I have 4 sets of these now and think they are great. They replaced my Merlin Chopin Classics.

Go with the atlas equator mk2, very solid cable, and multi award winner.
