i am running everything off the main downstairs ring which is on a rcd and through the tacima cs929

So im going to leave av amp,sky,tv,ps3,xbox360,sub on that lead and on the main ring.

next i have a spare 16amp breaker in the board on the non-rcd side, so im going to wire a non switched fuse spur(fuse down with a russ andrews hifi fuse). That will be in 6mm T&E i have next to no room in board to do as a ring. The run will only be 4m as the board is underthe stairs near the living room quite handy.

then off the load side of the spur im going to run 2m of flexy swa 1.5mm 3-core into an unswitched 4gang trailing socket for my arcam alpha 9 with i will use my copper alpha with and my cd player which is going to be a marantz cd63-se(which has a molded plug so no upgrade apart from a russ andrews hifi fuse(which are 5 for £17 im going to order soon so ill get back with results what 17 pound if it does nothing not alot lost). Then the 2 spare ways are for my laptop and when funds/mrs say yes it will be a dac magic(round 5-6 weeks i hope).

for all that read and help/comment many thanks in advance.

Trailing extension leads on the non RCD side could be a potential for disaster.
I hope you are not an electrician as it's probably not quite to the 17th Regs.
Hope you live alone.
But it will probably sound fabulous, now where'e Trevor79.

im in the trade yes but it will be about 2metres round the back of a sub and the trailing socket will have 2 keyholes to fix to the wall. it is totally safe as i will remove it when i move out or move my hifi and there will be a 2amp hifi fuse in the spur 17th regs lol. I guess its not but i have read over and over again that rcd's/coils ruin the sound. The only way of getting it into the regs is to chop it 2inchs intop the wall which is not going to happen lol
