I-Touch Video Output Not Working..?

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask advice before returning my I-Touch back as faulty.

I can't seem to get a vidoe out put to my TV.
I've tried apples own AV cables, but only get sound.
Have also tried the Apple I-Dock, which gives the same result.

Am I doing something wrong..!? Or do I have a faulty I-Touch..!?

Make sure in your iPod settings its video out is enabled, shouldn't be hard to find.

Yes, had a look and it is set to video out.

Ok, think you should be paying a visit to your dealer then. You are using the latest Apple cables?

The av cables and dock are both Apple's own.
Think best take a visit back to the shop like you suggested.

How old are the calbes/dock you're using? I know at one point I was trying to use one of the Classics to set up a video out demo and it wasn't working and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why.

Basically, the problem was that the video out cables and docks that had been previously made wouldn't work with the new iPods for whatever reason. I found a newer dock with video out and it worked.
