audiolab 8000c serial number F pre amp

audiolab 8000p serial number D power amp

tag mclaren 60p power amp

quad 909 power amp

kef reference 1

kef reference 2.2

kef reference 3

marantz cd63se

chord chameleon silver plus.

i listern to old school and drum and bass

as good as the 909 is it just does not have the same sound as the audiolab gear so do i buy 2 audiolab 8000ms new or old or is they another cd player that will give me the bass i would like.

or let me put it this way

is any of my stereo any good for drum and bass tunes and old school and if so what ?

and if you had £2000 to spend on my hi-fi where and what would you add to give me the bass i love..

i know the kefs are good speakersbut which are the best the 2.2 or the 3s

my front room is 25 ft X 10ft and i set at the other end of the room to the speakers .

thanks regards stuart

I can definitely make out some kind of dragon in there somewhere. A+ for paragraph structure.

hi there at the moment i have just the

audiolab 8000q pre

quad 909 for power

kef reference 2.2 for speakers

but i still have the other audiolab gear and tag because i do like the sound of the gear but is not that loud

if i use the tag 60p or the audiolab 8000p they trip at about 11oclock so i went out and bought the quad 909 but it just does not have the sound i am looking for .

regards stuart and thanks for your time
