that way the sub blends nicely as it gets he same signal as your speakers,i have mine just like that and the thing i like is that every time you put the volume up or down,the sub goes along..

Well, that and the fact (as far as I can see anyway) that the bantam has no low level outputs of any kind so high level is really your only option.
