How hot should a NAD C326BEE get?

Hello

After a few hours at very moderate listening levels, the top of my amp gets so hot that I can hardly hold my hand on it.

Is that normal?

i used to have one yes it does get hot more so at low volumes, it the hottest amp i ever had somtimes you can smell the heat,

If it gets too hot you could always buy a voltage switched adapter plug and a cheap PC fan and mount it in the caseing of the amplifier this will cool it down a bit but it MAY affect the performance.

Since they are all running this hot they must have been designed that way and I should not need to worry....
