How does SD on SKY compare to SD on Freeview?

Is the picture quality better through sky than freeview?

I have Sky HD and the SD PQ is definatly a improvement over my TVs Freeview with far less picture blocking.

Sky sd is not as good as my humax freeview sd.

Ill only watch sky if its a hd prog or motorcycle racing on eurosport.

have just paid for sky hd to replace my topfield 5810 so hoping for good things especially with my projector as find some channels a little soft

I bought my folks a Sony DVD recorder / PVR for Christmas to replace their Sagem freeview box. Their SD picture improved dramatically. It seems to be at least as good as Sky's. It seems that not all freeview tuners are created equal.
