You can take it to a dealer or get it upgraded by Arcam, but it will cost you more than buying a new CD192 and selling your 73 on eBay. Don't do it.

Yeah, I totally agree. When I contacted my dealer and enquired about upgrading they said Arcam could, if required, upgrade to the CD82 at the same cost.

Also, if you haven't had the 73T that long, say less than 2 years, you could part exchange it & get a good price back, with a bit of haggling.

JoelSim:you can get a 192 brand new for 399.95 at the moment and an upgrade would cost you 500.

Where is the 192 on sale at £400?

Never mind. Search eBay and ye shall find the answers you seek......;-)

I'm happy with my 72T, but I'm sorely tempted by the 192 at this price.

JoelSim:Yes, Lintone Audio who have been on eBay for years nowAnd have 3 retail shops in the Gateshead and Newcastle area. Companies like Sevenoaks and Superfi have come and gone in Newcastle but Lintone Audio still remain and serving customers like myself (bought my first 'real' hi-fi setup from them around 12 years ago, and only recently updated it...from Lintone). Top blokes as far as I'm aware.

Cheers,
Tony
