With a budget of £1500-£2000 ,which A.V.Reciever &speaker package ,would be a good pairing for quality sound. But not too harsh on volume ,as it is for a static caravan. ?? And if you hav`nt guessed by now i am a complete novice in this wonderful world of sound and vision.and would like to be prepared for my first trip to the hi-fi centre. "THANKS"

Welcome to the forum.

With smaller speakers a KEF 3005se speaker pack and Yamaha RXV2065 would be a very good starting point.

If you can run to bigger speakers then stick with the 2065 or a Pioneer LX52 and try 5.1 packs from Wharfedale or Dali.
