I bought this for £8.97 only a few weeks ago, from Amazon :)

Yes but for the sake of £1.03 i would have brought it from hmv instore and not had to wait around for the Amazon order, plus with an hmv pure card you get points as well...there is nothing like the thrill of going instore getting what you want now and not waiting 3-5 day for it to be dropped through the letter box... :)

Yes thats very well, but HMV is usually in town's or city centers which means to get to it you will have to pay bus fare to & from or pay car parking which won't be cheap by that time alien quadrilogy has cost you about £15.

Cheaper to order online & get free p&p imo.

Good for you sonycentre, but the HMV in the town where i live has closed down, so has Game & the Sony Centre, so what i'm left with, i think it is called limited choice. Lots of peeps are now faced with the same problem, shops closing all over & have to purchase online, i too would love to buy at my local store.

That's why im making the most of it whilst we still have shop's...the worst is yet to come i fear all we will be left with is a poundland,a few cafe's and primark, and the scary thing is people really dont seem to care.

Unfortunately, in the current economic climate, job losses are inevitable. It's not about "people don't seem to care". It's about tightening your purse strings & finding the best value. As David of Frank Harvey says, it's cyclical process. When there are less shops, suddenly business will go up resulting in more shops reopening when the economy improves.
