Hopefully our reviews will help but no, there's really no difference between hi-fi and AV racks, other than that the latter tend to be wider, and sometimes with greater shelf-spacing to accommodate more and larger equipment (and often a TV on the top).
Most of the nicer racks seem to be over £300. You might be better looking second-hand - you'll then be able to afford something like a Quadraspire, Sound Designs, or if you're lucky then maybe an Isoblue/Audiophile Base.
