Hi everyone, call me nosey if you like, but I was just wondering how often you like to change your kit? Do you shop on a whim, or carefully plan upgrades? As you can see from my list below I haven't changed things for quite some time (beats me how it's still working) I think that I take a huge amount of time deciding on any purchase, which perhaps reflects how long I keep things, oh, and I'm rather tight with my money! Cheers.

every 3-4 years usually, although i am , as my mate said yesterday, in the middle of a "hi fi meltdown" as i am thinking about changing the whole lot bar cables, including my new speakers, as i just don't have a sound i like.Already sold both amps! getting a new nad amp next week .Just not decided which one yet. Aren't those epos speakers you have quite good? would you want to change them?

I would be in serious state if my last as long as 6 months!.

When I hear something I really think will make a difference, can afford and my conscience (aka wife) will let me buy it.
Next upgrade 2015 (Probably tri-ampable speakers)

Yes, I've always liked my ES11s, but I've been borrowing a pair of AE1 Classics recently which has whetted my appetite for change. Besides (shallow comment warning!) the choice of speaker finishes is great these days, my Epos's are black ash - very 1980's Argos - and before anyone jumps up and down on me, sound quality is my number one consideration. Good luck choosing your new amp.
