Im about to buy a whole new system and am considering either a Samsung or Panasonic 37" TV and want to use a surround sound system with this. Am keen on the Sony DAV-IS10 but having done a little more reading, the possibility of an Onkyo TX-SR505 with Jamo A102HCS5 speakers and a Maranta DV6001 DVD player have been thrown into the mix. Which is the better option? The all in one Sony or the separates? Budget for the whole lot is ideally £1500 but would stretch to £2000 if it meant a much better system. Any advice or alternatives would be appreciated

Don't buy the Sony, it's trash. Unless you like all your sound to come from the subwoofer, then please, by all means do.. I can't believe WH gave it a five star rating, sure it's small speakers look appealing but really, it sounds godawful.
