Help with office / den set up please?

Room above a double garage (18' x 15') has recently become a home office for 3 people, but by night is transformed into a music room / den for lounging and watching TV. Owner has dispensed with his basic old set up comprising a Philips CD player, Cambridge Audio A1 amp and (now blown up!) speakers and is looking to upgrade to the 21st century. He also writes and records guitar based music in the den. Movies / DVD player would be a phase 2 bolt on as music (from swing to hard house) and good audio for TV is the key! New system will be hooked up with Sky HD.

Based on recent What Hi-Fi? Awards and some limited research owner is zoning in on the following:

Panasonic TH-42PX70 (cos my other TV is Panasonic)

Onkyo TX-SR605 (purely based on WHF rating as no idea really)

KEF KHT 3005SE (cos they look fab and I need wall mounted small speakers)

Are these compatable to suit the brief? Help? Advice? Alternatives?
