Hi all,

I am trying to connect two screens to my Denon 1910 receiver, and purchased an active "CS17-4L" HDMI splitter recently. It has one input and four outputs.

When I connect the Denon 1910 to the splitter and splitter to the screens the image is fine for two seconds, then goes very distorted, all the colors get inverted and a bogus image appears on both screens.

Also the black and white menu of the Denon 1910 which appears on the screens goes pink or blue.

At first I thought, there might be a problem with the splitter, however when I directly connect a component to the splitter, i.e. SAT receiver, it is doing a fine job. The problem appears when I connect any component via Denon 1910.

Thanks in advance

Hello

You may be best to move this to the 'Home Cinema' forum iunstead of this one (Hi Fi)

You'll more than likely get the answers there :)

Done. And I think the problem is with the information the displays are sending back upstream to the receiver and the source components connected to it, causing the picture to switch format and also possibly confusing the HDCP handshaking.
