Help with dark yellow picture

My 1 week old lcd (panasonic lxd700) has a deep yellow tint to the whole picture after 1 or 2hrs use this gets worse the longer the tv is on advise please is it faulty or something i am doing

You're not the only one - see here for a similar thread.

Seems it was a certain batch of sets - I'll ask Panasonic for an update.

It's nothing your doing wrong it's a problem with this particular model, ask the dealer to return it back to Panasonic and you should get a replacement... there are quite a few posts on this most notably by ScotsGirl...... I was looking forward to getting this TV but due to the issues mainly posted on here, I didn't buy it in the end, I settled for a Sony!!

hi clare....i have the same model , what i percieve about the problem is , that the setting of "cool" should be used as other settings add yellow tint to the pic..also the problem does not exist when watched with ambient light of 6500 kelvin, i.e watching in dark should be avoided.........this is my observation

I have it set to 'cool' and watch with ambient light but it can still be seen.
