Help with AV Amp decision

Hi Im after an AV Amp, the two I am after seem near impossible to get:

Sony STR-DG820 in Silver or

STR-DA2400ES In Silver

I need a silver amp to match the rest of my equipment.

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain one of these elusive amps in silver please.

Alternitively an Amp for around the £450 in silver which is as good with the same specs.

My b'day next week and would really like it for then, any help much appreciated.

I can't help you i'm afraid, but this is very strange, a couple of months ago only silver versions were available, it was impossible to find a black model.

buy me a black STR-DA2400 and I'll give you my silver Denon AVR 1909! If you're heart's set on the Sony - try Ebay and see whether there's anything second hand, but you'll be lucky.

Try the marantz SR5003 - I've seen it for £469 in silver.

It's RRP is £600, I think.......

I have had alook on the net & amazon have a silver sony 2400.

Thanks - amazon & play.com - just black looks like I might have to settle for black, I have heard Sony are bringing out there new ranges so are no longer producing the previous models.

Google "sony str-da2400es in silver" pentagon direct.com comes up & they have a silver version there.
