Help wanted with AV connections!!!!!

how is the best way to connect these?
1-Samsung LE32 R87 BDX (3 hdmi, 2 scart, 1 VGA, 2 optical, 1 s-video, 1 red-white-yellow)

2-Samsung DVD-SH853 160GB (2 scart, 1 s-video, 1 hdmi, 1 optical, 1 coaxial)

3-Sony HT-SS1100 (2 hdmi inputs, 1 hdmi output, the usual analogue audio outputs, 2 optical, 1 co-axial)

also whats the best way to get the aerial co-axial into the system? will going through a hdmi link, like the dvd player, improve the aerial input quality? or is it just a case of im stuck with the signal quality ive got coming through the aerial coaxial regardless of what i put it through?

HDMI from Samsung DVD to Sony system input, HDMI from Sony system output to TV.

Aerial cable from wall socket into Samsung DVD, aerial cable from DVD to TV.

And if you want to listen to TV while the DVD is off or recording something else, an audio output from TV to the Sony system - digital or analogue, it's up to you.

thanks, so this will take care of the HDMI from the DVD to the TV? (running it throught the Sony sound syatem?)

Yes, as long as the Samsung player is set up to output audio over the HDMI.
