HELP, Rega RP1 + ? +?

Hi,

After having huge pieces of hi fi equipment for many years i've decided to try and make my set-up as small as possible as I move around a lot.

I've recently replaced my Numark (massive deck) with a RP1 turntable which I'm very happy with, however I also want rid of my huge Marantz PM4200 Integrated Amplifier.

I'm looking for either a small an integrated amp as possible, that will power my turntable or a recomendation for powered speakers and a small form factor pre-amp, I will also need one extra "line in" aside from the turntable so I can plug a cable with a 3.5mm jack on the end in and plug it into either a laptop or a walkman etc

Unless there is another way to do this.

My budget for either the amp or speakers + pre-amp is £350

Any and all help would be appreciated, I work in I.T but am mostly clueless with Hi-Fi set-ups.

Also, I like these: KRK Rokit RP5, would they work with my turntable?

Hi Liam, welcome to the forum.

Just an observation but you may get a few more replies if you re-post this in the main HiFi section as it is not really a question about the turntable. Afraid I cannot help with your actual kit selection as this is not my area of expertise.
