Help please.... Sub or Floorstanders?

I have a very simple system Onkyo CR-515 & Q Acoustic 1020's. I am happy with this system but would like a bit more bass, the two option I am considering is adding a sub or whilst you can still get them a pair of Q Acoustic 1030i's.

I don't really want to change the Onkyo, but am concerned that it might struggle to drive Floorstanders.

Or am I already getting the best from the Onkyo as it is? And the only real improvement is to upgrade to separates?

Any help & advice is gratefully welcome.

Apparantly you need a good 'fast' sub to sound good with music.

I go for the floorstanders myself.
