Help needed

I had read though the manual of my Naim Nac 202 and realize i am short a link plug. May i know what is it use for? The link plug is as shown in the URL listed below. Please advice, thanks. http://www.tomtomaudioshop.com/040010026.html

The 202 can be used with various power supply upgrades, and AFAICR needs that plug to be in place to function correctly unless a secondary power supply is connected. Your Naim dealer should hold spares, or if you bought the preamp new and it's missing, a call to Naim should get it sorted out.

I bought the set used and apparently the used dealer say there is no plug and bundle the set with a napsc. The Napsc didn't seems to be a recent model and from serial no, it is from 1997. Is it ok to used it with Nac 202? It seems to works fine so far. Any cause of concern?
