Help me choose which speakers to buy

My choice is between the' jamo d6 thx ultra package' and' Dali motif '- both are on wall speakers to go into a smallish room of just over 9ft by 11ft in length - my sub is an m&k 7000 sub. My local dealer raves about the dali motif but does not rate my jamo package even though he admitted to me that he has never heard the d6 jamos before. Is he biased in favour of his product or is he right? Has anyone heard these products and is able to compare them?

Dealers are often biased towards one product even though they sell both. Sadly most of the time it is more to do with keeping the company happy/ stock/ anything but being helpful.

Tell your dealer you want to hear both, write off a day and spend the whole day testing them. (Don't forget to subconsciously snigger whilst dealer sweats struggling to change speakers over).

Alternatively if he doesn't stock one of the products he is obviously doing his job.
