HELP! - DVD/CD Playback

I am in need of some good advice on what to do.

I need a new DVD player for my HT setup (Panasonic 58" Plasma, Arcam AVR300 - Acoustic Energy AE Two's). I would also like something with good CD playback ability as I have moved my Arcam CD82 up to my living room system.

I am leaning toward an Arcam solution and have several options and therefore several questions.

1) Arcam DV88 (non-plus) ($300 US)

2) Arcam DV79 ($600 US)

3) Arcam DV78 ($500 US)

4) Arcam DV135 ($550 US)

5) Arcam DV27a (getting a bit too pricey) ($850 US)

6) Blu-ray player with a Cambridge Audio DAC.

7) Alternatives?

I can give you advice on condition you give me you're TV. Personally I think blue-ray is the way to go especially given the size of your tv. Surly you want the best quality picture? Why not use an iPod without compressed music with the ARCAM docking station through your amp. It won't be far short of sound quality that you're used to hearing.
