Hear more of the music and less noise

I just bought this pretty expensive Grand Prix Audio rack with Apex feets and Formula Shelves as I got an offer I couldn't pass up. I expected SOME improvement, but the gear that I use is considered 'high-end' and have very sturdy casings, so I thought the improvements would be very subtle. Boy, was I in for a surprise, there is a BIG improvement overall. Less noise and smearing, definition of the low frequencies went to the next level, more details, more 'blackness' etc. Not by a small margin either, definitely noticeable in like .... well 10 seconds. In short, you hear more into the music.

I'm not ever going to underestimate the issue of vibration control again, but I have to say that a lot of this stuff being sold doesn't quite live up to it's expectations.

Yeah, its the highend gear that benefits most from good isolation and cables etc as it has the resolution to show it.
