For around £80 -£100 would grados be the way to go,or any other ideas.Music listened through Imac with dac connected and audio engine 2 speakers and streamed to airport express connected to Arcam 8 int and power amps and Usher speakers.

May I suggest that if you are considering the Grados, then you might also consider a pair of Alessandro MS1s. If you read through some of the forums regarding headphone recommendations you will see that the Alessandro MS1s are highly recommended, as I have a pair of both makes, I can recommend the Alessandro MS1 and one other factor in there favour is that, they are cheaper $99 including postage from the States, you will not be disappointed.

So glad you are ordering the Alessandros, you will not believe the sound that you will hear but make sure that no one else is close by, as they will hear everything that you hear. In the end you will be amazed that these headphones, can produce such an amazing reproducion of whatever you are listening to, happy listening.
