HDMI Problem

Hi Guys

looking to invest in improving my home setup

currantly 5 yearold JVC Plasma 37" with 2 scarts and no HDMI.

Yamaha RVX 1000 amp no HDMI few years old but sounds fantastic for both film and music.

would like to change the denon dvd over to blueray possble pioneer. I think the TV will have to make way for the following

Panasonic TX-P42G10. Sky will change to Sky+ HD.

Would the amp need changing to accomadate HDMI?

if you get a BD player with analogue audio outs there is no probs. player decode and send audio to amp and HDMI direct to new TV.
