I've just bought myself a Pioneer VSX-S500 AV Receiver and am looking plug my Sky+HD and Sony BDP-480 blu ray into it. Can anyone recommend any short (i.e 0.5m-1m) HDMI cables that arent going to break the bank but are very good quality?

Many thanks

Matt

I have QED, Wireworld and Chord HDMI cables. I'd suggest the Wireworld ones are (subjectively) best as performance is good, they are flexible, and come in a variety of useful lengths if you are OCD like me.

Just make sure its latest HDMI version, dont spent too much as theres no difference in picture etc and the expensive cables are a rip off.

This will suffice your requirements. I've got a couple of these & their build quality is very good.
