I have just bought a Panasonic 3D tv 🙂

I currently have a Yamaha RX-V765 AV amp (want to keep it!). Unfortunately it does not support 3D so I will need to invest probably in the Panasonic DMP-BDT310EB blu-ray player with it's two HDMI ports.

My question is, will I be OK to run HDMI 1.3b to my TV and another HDMI 1.3b to my amp? Or will a need HDMI 1.4a to the TV and HDMI 1.3b to the amp?

Hope I'm making sense?

Thanks in advance of any advice!

Any HDMI cables which are classified as 1.3b are High Speed cables and will therefore pass 3D and all the other 1.4 spec features (e.g. ARC). So there's no need to replace them.
